Because the lime process involves the production process of limestone and coke, such as entering, mixing ratio, finished product output, kiln gas washing and so on. There are many factors affecting the production capacity of lime rotary kiln, such as large granularity of limestone, large granularity of coke, small air flow, uneven distribution, slow down of lime, low temperature of calcination zone, etc. Some suggestions are given in the following section:
I. Increasing the burning rate of coke
When the external conditions are the same, the coke particle size is small, which can increase the burning area, accelerate combustion and generate more heat per unit time. At the same time, it also increases the contact area with limestone, and the production intensity can be greatly improved. But the coke particle size can not be too small. Otherwise, because of burning too fast, it may cause limestone burning, bad ventilation and damage the normal operation of kiln, so the appropriate coke particle size should be maintained. 。
2. Guarantee of Limestone with Medium Size
The large particle size of limestone has a great impact on the production capacity of limestone kiln, resulting in the limestone burning impermeable, burning, and long residence time in the kiln, low decomposition rate, and reduced production capacity. Therefore, it is very important to ensure the proper size of limestone. Through practice, the production capacity of limestone kiln can be improved by 80-120 mm limestone.
III. Appropriate Increase of Calcination Temperature
Because the decomposition of limestone is an endothermic reaction, properly increasing the calcination temperature can not only increase the decomposition speed of limestone, but also improve the production capacity of limestone kiln. The methods to increase the calcination temperature are: (1) properly increasing the coke ratio; and (2) increasing the air intake accordingly.
